Symptoms of Anemia

Causes of Anemia

1. Iron deficiency

The most common kind of anemia can occur due to a shortage of iron in the body. The bone marrow needs iron in order to make enough hemoglobin in the body. If there isn't enough iron, the body cannot produce the proper amount of hemoglobin for the red blood cells. If there is an absence of iron supplementation in the body, then anemia can occur and cause issues. 

2. Blood loss

Blood loss is another factor that can cause anemia. You tend to lose the red blood cells that are present in the body because of bleeding, and it happens over a long time period. If there is improper sleep or less sleep, then it can lead to improper digestion and metabolism, which can further cause various deficiencies and result in anemia. 

6. Heavy exercise

7. Medicines

In some situations, anemia can occur because of certain medicines. There are medicines that can harm the blood cells which produce hemoglobin in the body, and it can further cause anemia.

1. Anjeer milk

It is recommended to boil anjeer and cardamom in milk and then drink one glass before sleeping. Drinking this twice a week can help with hemoglobin production in the blood cells. 

2. Ghee

Ghee can help balance the pitta dosha, which can further treat the root cause of anemia. It is recommended to consume 10 ml of ghee early in the morning on an empty stomach for better results. 

3. Consume lots of fruits and vegetables

Consuming fruits and vegetables with appropriate supplements is crucial for an anemic patient. They should only consume fruits that are rich in nutrients like iron and Vitamin C because it helps with treating anemia.
