Zandu Amlapitta har Churna is a unique Ayurvedic herbo-mineral formulation (not like usual tablet for gas and acidity) enriched with the goodness of Trivrit, Amalaki, Haritaki, Bibhitaki (Triphala) Shunthi, Marich, Pippali (Trikatu), Ela, Lavang, Guduchi, Gokshur, Amalaki (Rasayan Churna) and other Ayurvedic ingredients to manage Amlapitta (hyperacidity). This acidity regulator also helps to reduce symptoms associated with hyperacidity such
as burning sensation in chest & throat, loss of appetite, tastelessness, belching, distended abdomen, nausea and constipation. Unlike tablets of

What is Amlapitta in Ayurveda?

Amlapitta is a disorder of Annavaha Srotasa (gastrointestinal system) that occurs due to faulty dietary habits & lifestyle. This aggravates Pitta Dosha especially pachak pitta (gastric juice) in the amashaya (stomach). Amlapitta is composed of two words- Amla + Pitta = Amlapitta. The term Amla refers to a particular type of taste equated with the sour taste, which causes excessive salivary secretion. Pitta is a bodily chemical substance which is mainly responsible for the maintenance of the process of digestion, transformation and transmutation. On combining both these, word the term Amlapitta implies to a disease or condition in which the sourness of Pitta increases. The symptoms associated with Amlapitta are Ajirna (indigestion), Hritkantha Daha (heart and throat burn) and Tikta-Amlodgara (sour and bitter belching).

How do you treat Amlapitta?
